Grower to importer.
Nothing in between.

We don't list. We introduce.

We introduce licensed Canadian craft producers to European pharmaceutical importers. You set your own terms, negotiate directly and invoice each other. We are paid only when a deal closes.

You set the terms

Price, volume and contract are between you and your counterparty. No middleman rewrites them.

Nothing to risk

Nothing is payable up front. We are paid only when a deal we introduced closes.

Your product stays yours

We never take title, hold product or handle freight. Producer and buyer invoice each other.

Keep your other channels

The arrangement is non-exclusive. Every other buyer and relationship stays yours.

A direct line beats a long chain.

Through a broker, a markup is added to your price and the grower and the importer are kept apart. Through ISCA, the grower and the importer talk to each other. We make the introduction, then step back.

Through a broker

ProducerBrokerImporteradds a markup

The broker sits in the middle. You and the importer have no direct relationship.

Through ISCA

ISCAProducerImportercontract and invoice directly

You hold the relationship. Contract and invoice each other directly.

Names stay hidden until it fits.

The portal is private. We match on specification first, so no one sees a name, volume or detail until both sides are protected. Getting in starts with a mutual confidentiality agreement: the NCND for producers and partners, a short NDA for buyers. Neither costs anything.

1

Confidentiality

You sign a mutual confidentiality agreement: the NCND for producers and partners, a short NDA for buyers. No names, volumes or specifics are exchanged before it is signed. No cost, and no obligation to do a deal. Buyers can then receive blinded sheets for lots that fit their requirements.

2

Registration

The written terms for your role. Producers sign one short agreement, then confirm their licence and compliance in a short portal profile before listing. Buyers sign a short registration covering procurement and import authorization. Service providers and genetics owners sign the agreement for their side.

3

Portal access

With both documents complete, you receive an invitation to the private matching portal and enter your own listing or requirements.

4

Introduction

When a match is identified, both parties are formally introduced under a defined protection period. From then on you deal directly with your counterpart.

Two sides, one introduction.

Licensed Canadian producers

Put your lots in front of European importers, on your terms.

You keep the price, the contract and your other channels. We are paid only if the deal closes.

For producers

European pharmaceutical importers

Deal with the grower, not a broker.

No fee to the importer. Producers complete a compliance declaration before you meet, and you contract with them directly.

For buyers

Also introduced

Service providers

Clients who need what your facility does.

Processing, testing, packaging, release and logistics. You quote, contract and invoice the client directly.

For service providers

Genetics owners

License your genetics without letting go of them.

We introduce licensed cultivators. The licence and any material transfer stay between you and them.

For genetics owners

Find out if there is a match.

Start with a mutual confidentiality agreement: the NCND for producers, a short NDA for buyers. No cost, and no obligation to do a deal.

Reach Europe without handing over your product.

Craft flower does not need to compete on tonnage. We look for European pharmaceutical importers who want what you grow, then introduce you directly.

What you get.

  • Control of your price and terms. You negotiate and contract with the buyer directly.
  • Your product stays yours. We never take title or possession.
  • Your other channels stay open. The arrangement is non-exclusive.
  • Documented importers. Buyers register their import authorization before you are introduced.
  • Protection. Every introduction is covered by a formal protection period.

What it costs.

Nothing up front. We are paid only when a deal we introduced closes.

The written terms reach you after the NCND is signed and before anything else happens, so you see them first.

What we ask of you.

Importers will ask about your licence and compliance status, so we ask first. After the NCND you sign one short agreement setting out the terms. Then you receive the portal invitation, complete a short company profile and declaration covering your licence and compliance (about 10 minutes), and enter your own listing.

Producer questions.

What does it cost?

Nothing up front. ISCA is paid only on closed business. The terms are in writing, and you see them after the NCND and before anything else happens.

Is this exclusive?

No. The arrangement is non-exclusive. You keep your other buyers, producers and channels.

Do you buy or hold my product?

No. ISCA never takes title or possession, never stores or ships product, and never holds purchase funds. You contract and invoice the buyer directly.

Who handles shipping, customs and quality?

You and your counterparty. ISCA does not ship, store, import or export, and does not take responsibility for quality or customs clearance.

What if we already know each other?

Either side can flag a prior relationship when an introduction is made. The introduction pauses and the evidence is reviewed before anything is locked in.

Who sees my details?

No one before the confidentiality agreement is signed. After the introduction, identities are revealed to the matched counterparty only.

Canadian craft, direct from the grower.

No fee to the importer.

ISCA introduces European importers to licensed Canadian craft producers. You negotiate, contract and pay the grower directly. The grower pays one fee, only on closed business.

What you get.

  • A direct line to the producer. You negotiate, contract and pay them yourself.
  • Compliance up front. Producers complete a compliance declaration before any introduction.
  • A focus on quality and provenance, not volume.
  • Freedom to source elsewhere. The relationship is non-exclusive.
  • Privacy. Your requirements stay hidden until a match is introduced.
  • A look before you commit. After a short NDA, you see blinded sheets for lots that fit your requirements.

What it costs.

Nothing. The importer pays ISCA no fee at any stage: not to register, not for an introduction, not on any purchase.

It is non-exclusive, and you are never obliged to buy. The written terms reach you after the NDA, before you take any further step.

What we ask of you.

Start with a short mutual NDA. It covers confidentiality both ways, costs nothing and carries no obligation to buy.

Once it is signed, we can send you blinded sheets for lots that fit your requirements: profile bands, certification, quality results, volume, timing, payment terms and a price band agreed with the producer. The producer's name, strain name, licence and exact price are not shown. To be introduced, you sign a short registration document covering procurement and import authorization, then receive the portal invitation and enter your own requirements.

Introduction

When a match is identified, both parties are formally introduced under a defined protection period. From then on you deal directly with your counterpart.

Buyer questions.

What does it cost?

Nothing. The importer pays ISCA no fee at any stage: not to register, not for an introduction, not on any purchase. ISCA is paid by the producer, and only on closed business. The terms are in writing, and you see them after the NDA and before anything else happens.

What do I see before I register?

After a short mutual NDA, blinded sheets for lots that fit your requirements: profile bands, certification, quality results, volume, timing, payment terms and a price band agreed with the producer. The producer's name, strain name, licence and exact price are revealed only at a formal introduction.

What does the NDA cover?

Confidentiality, both ways, and a promise not to use a blinded sheet to contact the producer before we introduce you. It costs nothing, carries no obligation to buy and does not tie you to ISCA. Your requirements stay confidential and are shared with producers only in blinded form until an introduction is formalized.

Am I obliged to buy?

No. Registering and receiving an introduction does not oblige you to buy. Any purchase is a contract between you and the producer.

Is this exclusive?

No. The arrangement is non-exclusive. You keep your other buyers, producers and channels.

Do I buy from ISCA?

No. You contract with and pay the producer. ISCA is not a seller, reseller, trader or broker.

Clients who need what your facility does.

Producers and importers moving medical cannabis between Canada and Europe often need processing, testing, packaging, release or logistics along the way. We introduce the ones who need your service. You take it from there.

What you get.

  • A direct client relationship. You quote, contract with and invoice the client yourself.
  • Introductions that fit. We match on the service required before any names are exchanged.
  • Your business stays yours. ISCA does not own, operate or speak for your facility.
  • Your other clients stay yours. The relationship is non-exclusive.
  • Privacy. Your details stay hidden until an introduction is made.

What it costs.

Nothing up front. We are paid only on closed business.

The written terms reach you after the NCND is signed and before anything else happens, so you see them first.

Who this is for.

  • EU-GMP processing
  • Packaging
  • Laboratory testing
  • Qualified Person and pharmaceutical services
  • Logistics
  • Regulatory and advisory services

What we ask of you.

Clients will ask what you are licensed and certified to do, so we ask first.

After the NCND you sign a partner agreement and tell us which services you offer and the licences and certifications behind them. Then you receive the portal invitation and list your services yourself. ISCA does not certify your facility. Your licences and certifications remain your responsibility.

Is this exclusive?

No. The relationship is non-exclusive. You keep your existing clients and your other sources of work.

Do you sit between me and the client?

No. You quote, contract with and invoice the client directly. ISCA is not a party to your service agreement.

Does ISCA certify my facility?

No. ISCA does not certify GMP, GACP or any other quality status. The licences and certifications your services require remain your responsibility.

License your genetics without letting go of them.

You bred it and you hold the rights. We introduce licensed cultivators who want to grow it under licence, and you agree the terms with them directly.

What you get.

  • You set the licence terms. You negotiate and contract with the licensee directly.
  • Your material stays in your control. ISCA never takes possession, custody or control of genetic material.
  • Your agreements are your own. Any licence or material transfer agreement is between you and the licensee.
  • Your other routes stay open. The arrangement is non-exclusive.
  • Privacy. Your cultivars and your name stay hidden until an introduction is made.

What it costs.

Nothing up front. We are paid only on closed business.

What we ask of you.

After the NCND you sign a genetics introduction agreement and list the cultivars you want introduced. Then you receive the portal invitation and enter your own listings.

You remain responsible for your ownership of the genetics and your right to license them. We encourage a material transfer agreement before any material moves. It is between you and the licensee, and ISCA is not a party to it.

Introduction

When a match is identified, both parties are formally introduced under a defined protection period. From then on you deal directly with your counterpart.

Genetics owner questions.

What does it cost?

Nothing up front. ISCA is paid only on closed business. The terms are in writing, and you see them after the NCND and before anything else happens.

Is this exclusive?

No. The arrangement is non-exclusive. You remain free to license your genetics yourself or through others.

Does ISCA take or hold my genetics?

No. ISCA never takes possession, custody or control of genetic material. Any transfer happens directly between you and the licensee, under your own agreement.

Who protects my intellectual property?

You do, through your own licence and material transfer agreements with the licensee. ISCA is not a party to them and does not enforce them.

Does ISCA confirm that I own the genetics?

No. Establishing your ownership and your right to license remains with you.

What if we already know each other?

Either side can flag a prior relationship when an introduction is made. The introduction pauses and the evidence is reviewed before anything is locked in.

What a match looks like.

Here is the path from entry to introduction inside the portal. This shows the layout only. No live listings or requirements appear on this site.

You enter your own listing or requirement.

Producers describe what they have. Importers describe what they need. You do it yourself, in the portal, in your own words. Your identity stays hidden until a match is introduced.

What stays with you.

ISCA is an independent intermediary. We keep our role narrow so everything that matters stays in your hands.

  • Your product
We never take title or possession.
  • Your logistics
We don't store, ship, import or export. You decide how product moves.
  • Your funds
We never hold purchase funds. You pay and invoice each other.
  • Your representation
We introduce. We don't act as agent for either side.
  • Your quality and customs
Responsibility stays with the transacting parties.
  • Your other channels
    The arrangement is non-exclusive.

Common questions.

Do I buy from ISCA?

No. You contract with and pay the producer. ISCA is not a seller, reseller, trader or broker.

Who handles shipping, customs and quality?

You and your counterparty. ISCA does not ship, store, import or export, and does not take responsibility for quality or customs clearance.

Why confidentiality before anything else?

Because the value is in the names. Neither side should reveal who they are, what they hold or what they need until both are protected. Producers and partners sign the NCND, buyers a short NDA.

Two Routes Into the Same Market

A licensed importer is part of either route, and often a processor too — that doesn't change. What changes is whether anyone stands between the grower and the importer, marking up the product and keeping the two apart.

No title taken
No warehousing
No markup

Why this market, right now.

201,094 kg
Medical cannabis imported to Germany, full-year 2025
93,006 kg
Of that shipped from Canada, Germany's largest supplier
46%
Canada's share of all German medical cannabis imports, 2025

Source: BfArM import data, full-year 2025. The bottleneck isn't buyers or flower — it's qualified counterparties who can actually find each other.

Where the two routes diverge.

The brokered route

+ a markup added to your price  ·  + grower and importer kept apart  ·  + no direct relationship

The ISCA introduction

one fee, paid only on closed business  ·  you deal with the importer directly

Worth a Conversation, Not a Debate.

This isn't a case against brokers, processors, or suppliers running their own export desk — each has its place and works well for plenty of good businesses. It's simply a lower-cost way to get a specific deal done: both sides know who they're dealing with, no markup stacked on top of your price, one fee paid only when it closes.

Sign the confidentiality agreement for your side to get started.

For sellers & buyers alike

Keep what the extra layer would have cost you.

A shorter chain means more margin for the grower and a better price for the buyer — at once

A small firm, by design.

ISCA is a Canada-anchored, British Columbia-incorporated advisory firm. We introduce licensed Canadian medical cannabis producers to European pharmaceutical importers, and nothing more. You deal with the principal, not a sales team.

Principal Advisor

Lorne runs ISCA. He spent the better part of a decade in British Columbia's licensed cannabis sector, first running extraction and manufacturing and sourcing botanical inputs, then directing operations, compliance and P&L at a high-volume retailer. He has worked the product from input to shelf under provincial regulation. Confidentiality, registration, portal access and every introduction run through him, so the person who sets the terms is the person you speak to.
